downloading text

[Text problem]

When I download text from internet it comes out in codes..all numbers and
letters. I am using MS 2002 and reinstalled it and it still happens.

I haven't the foggiest idea what program you are using, but
will assume MS Word 2002. Open Notepad (Start> All
Programs> Accessories> Notepad) Select the text on the
Internet page, copy to the clipboard, paste into Notepad.
Select all in Notepad, copy to the clip board and paste
into Word.
