draft messages in outlook that show but don't retrieve

I have 2 email messages showing as saved in drafts but when I double click to
retrieve nothing appears. How can I sort this out?

Hi thanks for replying

I am using Outlook 2007 and usually I can retrieve emails that are in the
draft folder however I have one showing for a week or so and then today
whilst trying the retrieve another email in draft it disappeared and the
folder now shows 2 (the figure is in green if this makes any difference!)
