Draw tools in Word 2003 Compared to word 2000

We have a problem. When previously using word 2000 after inserting a picture
into a word doc we could then superimpose text boxes call outs lines symbols
etc from the draw tools. these would sit on the picture itself without a
problem. In Word 2003 if you were for example wanting to place a text box on
a picture as soon as you draw your text box on the picture half the picture
disappears same happens with other tools.

Anyone have any suggestions or a fix for this problem

Perhaps reducing "hardware acceleration" on the video adapter will
correct this problem for your system.
Operating system:
Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, Troubleshoot, move the slider
left a notch, Apply and then test in Word, repeat if necessary.

Hi Bob I, Tried your advice to all the way back to the left but sadly did'nt
help but have now found suitable solution using text wrap in the picture
format menu. But thanks for the help. regards
