Dropdown cateogries -- possbile?

This might seem an odd request, but I categorize my tasks often and am
interested in knowing if there was an easier way to do this, like a drop-down
list. Opening up the categories everytime is getting a mite tedious.

Possibly using a Custom form and Control.
