duplicate window on opening outlook 2007

[Poldark]

since my last update outlook opens with a "ghost" window which stays when I
close the program. This closes ok but is a nuisance, is there a reason and
solution to this problem please?

What is in this "ghost" window or how does it show as a "ghost" to you?
Does this window still show itself when you start Outlook in Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

If not, the issue is most likely caused by an addd-in.
