Duration and dates

I have created task with 10 days duration. It should show ---Start on Mon
and Finish on Friday, but MS Project shows Start as Monday as the finish as
Monday (11 days durations).
What should I be doing?

Hi,

First, in Tools, Options, View, select a date format showing time of day.
Maybe your tasks starts and ends in the middle of the day.

Jan,

The start time on Monday is 8 Am and the finish on Monday is 5 PM. These
tasks have predecessors; when I remove the predecessors the tasks revert to
Start on Monday and Finish on Friday for 10 days durations.

Hi Harry,

Curious.
I've seen this with leveling (and I can explain it) but not with
predecessors.
And when finish shifts to Mon 1700 duration does become 1days? or not?
