The duration of a task is showing 35.85d and im wondering how to fix this.
I set general working time to 10hr days 60wk, 26 saturdays and 7am to 12,
1230 to 530.

Hi,

There may be several causes to this.
In tools, options, calendar, do you also have 10 as "hours per day"?
Do you have 7am as default start time? 550 pm as default finish time?
In tools, options, view, set the date format to the one showing time of day
(the first on the list) and verify whether start and finisf times coincide
with day start and finish..

Hope this helps

Hi,

And the other elements? Hours per day?...
Do your tasks start/finish on the right time of day?

Durations are always stored and tracked in minutes, with "days" etc only
being units of convenience. For whatever reason your task is not starting
exactly at the start of a workday and/or ending exactly at the end of the
workday. Display dates with times and it will help you track down why. But
why worry about it? The duration is the duration.
