Dynamic connectors route over Shapes ?

My application which uses the Office.Interop to draw a network diagramm of
Switches (as Shapes with ConnectionPoints as Ports) and Devices (as Shapes).
If there are many connections, some route over the Shapes. But i configured
all shapes so that these connection shoud always route around them.

And there is a second thing i can't understand, in some drawings the dynamic
connectors route very close to a shape and i don't know how to influence the
connector to route with more space around a shape.
