Dynamic Web Templates

I have created a dwt. However, I am not sure how to use. I am assuming it
is more that just a stencil of a web page, because I could create a html
page and make copies of it. I am guessing you could merge the dwt with a
html page. If so, how do you do it?

You make a new empty page, and then you Attach the DWT to the new empty
page.
Format > Dynamic Web Template >Attach Dynamic Web Template.
