E-mail Collaboration

When I go into Microsoft Project 2002 Professional and
click on Collaborate - Collaborate Options, on the
Collaborate tab, "Collaborate using" is grayed out. I am
unable to change it to e-mail. How do I make it so I can
click on the dropdown arrow and choose "E-mail"?

Thanks for responding, Gary, but I don't get what you
mean. What do I need to use in order for e-mail
collaboration to work using e-mail? I was making the
change in Project 2002 Professional, not server, but we
are running Project 2002 Server as well. Can you
elaborate further?

Thanks in advance!

Warren:

Don't connect to Project Server on startup and you will have use of these
options. If your client is set to automatically detect the connection state,
you'll need to first set this to manual under Tools > Enterprise Options >
Project Server Accounts. Keep in mind that when you change the collaboration
settings, that they'll apply only to the local mpp file you have open at
that time, and that the plan will live on a share or in a database other
than Project Server's database. You can not use email collaboration at the
same time you're connected to an enterprise Project Server.
