E-mail message formatting.

Running Pub 2003 on XP Home. I edit a newsletter for a
guild every month and use the contents of several member
E-mails in the publication. (Presidents message, etc.)
When I copy and paste the text from some--not all--of the
E-mails into a text box they show up with each line in a
separate "cell". I can clear that up by pasting the
message in Word 2003 first, but I wondered if there is a
quicker method. I'm a bit confused about the right
click "paste special" options and how HTML figures in.
Appreciate the help!

The quickest method is to have Notepad open and use that to clear the
formatting.
Copying any formatted material will always cause you grief and time.

Method, copy text to clipboard, paste into blank Notepad document, then
select all text, then cut to clipboard, then paste into new document.
Is quick effective and easy and saves all the formatting issues in the new
document.

In addtion to David's response, you could also use the Edit > Paste Special
Unformatted Text feature.

Which guild?
It's the Willamette (Willamette Valley area in western
Oregon) Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild. It
isn't just about chair sear covers anymore, like your
grandmother's generation.

Thanks, that sounds a whole lot easier! Will give it a go
with the next month's edition.
