We have Outlook 2003 and Word 2000. We open a Word document and it is found
to have an automatic e-mail reply function somehow built into it, because it
automatically comes up with a destination SMTP address, etc. This is all
okay, because it is an automated e-mail reply to something.
However, Word then starts asking for a pop3 and smtp server, somehow
believing that we are connected directly to the internet via an ISP. But we
are connected to the internet via our Exchange 2003 server! How can we get
Word to use the Exchange server settings rather than using the Outlook
'internet only' mode???
PS: All of our Outlook 2003 clients are configured for use with Exchange
Server (not for the 'internet only' mail mode).
Thanks in advance,
Tom
