I try to edit some clip art in publisher 98 and it don't
work. I want to know if later versions enable you to edit
the clip art? If they do, which ones??? Thank you!

You can edit clipart in Publisher 2002 on up... Office 2000 came bundled with
PhotoDraw which allowed editing.

Are you trying to edit the clipart included with Publisher 98? And if so,
what kind of editing are you trying to do? If you go to Insert > Picture >
New Drawing and then while in the drawing application, you insert clipart,
you can edit the art.

I had forgotten that you could do this, it is clunky, but it is doable. There is a
ungroup icon on the main toolbar, it is not on the picture toolbar. Once you ungroup
the image, you can delete parts you don't want or recolor elements. If by chance you
unselect the image, double-click it and the edit tools will return.
