Edit Picture in Word 2003 gets messed up from a Word 2k doc

The formatting of a chart gets messed up when we select Edit Picture in Word
2003. The original document was created in Word 2000. Is there a conversion
setting that we might be missing? Is the formatting different of pictures and
charts in Word 2003? Any ideas would be helpful.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?RHJpenp0Q2FuYWRh?=,

Since you're seeing this as a picture in Word 2003, it means Word couldn't find
the original application that created it, and so had to convert it to a picture
when you double-clicked it. For a chart, this shouldn't be happening; it would
for an ORGANIZATION chart, however, because the engine (mini-program) for org
charts was changed in Word 2002.

Assuming you are talking about a graph/chart, then this may be an indication
that third-party software is interfering with the execution of OLE Servers in
Word/Office. There's no way to recover your original chart and test this,
though, unless you have a back-up copy of the file.
