Edit Project Properties -Change the View

Hi,

I have multiple custom fields (about 20) for each of my projects. Some
of these fields are updated at the proposal stage and some updated at
the end of a project for reporting purposes. I want a user to enter
them in PWA.

Is there a way I can change the view of the edit project properties
page so that I can display my custom fields in a certain order. At the
moment the order of the custom fields starts with the Status field and
then orders the remaining fields Alphabetically which is not very
practical for updating the fields.

Using:project Server 2007

Thanks in advance for any help..

Hmmm .. great! ...

Is there anyway around this .. I could setup a custom form in Project
Professional but that would require the user to actually have Project
Professional (Project Pro License vs CAL issue here). Is there any
(easy!) way I can create a custom view or custom web part in PWA where
a user can enter in the required data in a more user friendly manner?

Thanks

Hi,

I've done this customizing the EditProjectSummary.aspx form and using PSI
services. I made a backup copy of the original form and put a "Standard
visualization" link on the new one.

Just pay attention to the ckeckout-checkin mechanism.

Bye!
