Custom Fields in PWA are Alphabetical...how do I change them?

I am working inside Project Server 2007. Inside PWA we have many
custom fields, e.g Project Status, Scope Status, BUdget Status....
then there are other fields which are for PMO use only... e.g.
Initiation PHase Completed, Closure Phase Completed, etc.

All of these fields show up in PWA in an alphabetical order, I would
like to sort the view so that all the PMO use fields show up at the
bottom when a project manager is updating the project properties.

Does anyone have an idea how i would do this?

Thanks so much in advance.

If the alphabetical sorting presents this much of a problem for your PM's,
why don't you prefix each field name with the "zzz" character string? That
will force them down to the bottom of the list. Just a thought. Hope this
helps.

Hi pallavii333,

as my dear colegues already suggested, this is unfortunalty a feature ( I
dont like it either). the only way you may get around this is if you make the
fields you wish to display on top "mandetory" fields and the fields you wish
to list at the bottom "optional" fields. Not that this is a nice solution,
but at least mandetory fields are at the top and optional fields are at the
bottom.

I know its nasty, but it may does the trick for you
thanks
