Edited wav file won't play.

I've edited a wav file to fade at the end and have saved
the new file using the exact same settings as the
original. I have no problem playing the original file in
PPT 2003, but the edited file won't play. Any advice?

Sound in Depth. Do you have a suggestion?

What software did you use for the editing?

Well I downloaded and tried Sound in Depth and converted a WAV file. Both the
original and the converted files work in PowerPoint 2003. What settings did
you use and how do you know they are the same as the original? Did you save it
as a WAV?

You could download and run G-Spot from http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ and open
the original and then the converted file to compare their characteristis.

Both files are PCM 44.100 kHz 16 bit stereo.

Does the edited file play in mplay32.exe? You can test it by going to Start >
Run, type mplay32.exe and click OK.

Sonia--thanks for your help. I figured it out. I forget
to reset the animation settings for the new (edited)
video. I'm sorry to use up your valuable time...
