Editing a textbox from OCR

Textbox Help

I'm new at this so..., please help!!! I scanned a document into Wor 2007 and
now I have to make changes on the scanned document, then send it to
Publisher. When I open the document, a text box appears, which won't allow
me to make the edits in the document. Is there something that I should be
doing in order to access the text in the box? Please help.., I'm working on
a deadline. Thanks.

You should have scanned the document with Microsoft Document Imaging and
then done an OCR conversion on the scanned images then placed the final OCR
document into Word for the editing.

Apparently what you have done is placed the graphic image directly into Word
which can not be edited.

Click Start, All Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Tools and then
Microsoft Office Document Imaging. Read the Help files for additional
assistance in how to scan for and do OCR with that program.
