We save spreadsheets one a central computer (Not a server yet) with a created
share with wide open permissions. Using Office 2007, Others can open and edit
files, but when it's time to save, they get the message:
'Document Name.xls' is read only. To save a copy. click OK, the give the
work book a new name in the Save As dialog box.
I also got a message about the document being from another computer, and to
save another copy.
Again, permission are as open as I can get them, on the share and security
with users and groups.
Not sure how to clear this one.
