Editing Templates

I downloaded a template and would like to edit the selections in the a couple
of the drop down menus, especially for the menu the references employees who
will be working on a project and the categories. Thanks.

Assuming the dropdowns are Data Validation List dropdowns, edit the source
range items and/or range reference.

You may have to unprotect the sheet in order to do this.

We need more detail. If this is a Microsoft template tell us where you got
it. Also what type of drop downs are in the cells? Are these Form Combo
boxes, Control Toolbox combo boxes or a Data Validation List. If the drop
downs only display when you are in the cell you have a DV list.

To edit the last, select the cells where the drop downs are located and
choose Data, Validation, and change the Source range (or, heaven forbid -
edit the list in the Source box).
