Em-dash and en-dash

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel How do I insert an em-dash and an en-dash? I can't find these in the Insert Symbols.

Use the OS X Character Viewer which you may have to activate in System
Preferences> Language & Text - Input Sources.

Optionally, use the keystrokes of Option+[Minus] and Shift+Option+[Minus] to
see if that's satisfactory ‹ The actual keystrokes from Word may be able to
be used but it depends on what type of keyboard you have... Condensed
keyboards make it tough :)
