email bounced but with a different spelling than I sent

I mis-spelt an address 1 yr ago and erased and corrected it in Outlook.
Every time I send to the correct address it bounces and shows the old
mis-spelt address as undeliverable.

some of the comment is:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Describe *exactly* how you changed the address.

Make sure you remove the old address from the autocompletion cache first.
Start typing in the To field. When the address pops up, use the arrow keys to
select it, then press Delete. Start typing the contact's name again and after
three characters, press Ctrl-K. Send again. What happens?

I think that fixed it. Thank you. Trying to find a way to rate the post but
don't see it.
