email collaboration

I'm running Project 2002 Professional. Is there a way to
request project information on a task from within Project.
using email? Everything I try wants there to be a web
server, which there isn't.

Have you tried WorkAlerts for Microsoft Project? It can easily deliver
information from project via email. Whatever information that is in
Project. www.workalerts.com

I do not seem to have any "workgroup tools". I do have
a "Collaboration" Menu, but most of it is irrelevant
without a Project Server. Do I have an installation
discrepancy?

Having installed the workgroup collaboration I don't see any dropdown that enables me to use it. The only email function I have is the 'send to' option under file. Is there suppossed to be a collaboration option with 2003?
