Email duplication on pop 3 using multiple computers and leaving mail on the serv

Anyone else have this issue? Its a shared server at
rackspace, and they are running cpanel on a lunix server.

I am getting outlook 2003 downloading messages sometimes
20 times and my inbox is full of duplicates.
