peter shared this with us in microsoft.public.word.newusers:
When I am using Word to send an email I know that there can be an
introduction field under the subject field...
To
CC
subject
Introduction
How can I make this field appear?
Cheers Peter.....
"Introduction" is not a standard mail field afaik, so depending on the
reciepient this could give unwanted results.
If it were a "standard" field, you would be able to see it in your
Outlook Express.
Anyway, please don't use Word to send an email.
Use a text processor to write text documents.
Use a mail program to send and recieve email.
Attach documents to an email if you must, but be strict when sending
and relaxed when receiving. Don't assume the person on the other side
will understand you.

If it has an "X" in the name, it must be Linux?
