email link problem: puts subject in send to line

when I click on an email link from my own or someone
else's website that has a subject included, Outlook is
inserting the email address and the subject text onto
the "To" line. This makes the email undeliverable as it
has extra text added that Outlook should have
automatically placed in the subject line.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Tell the web-designer not to use the ?subject= setting. It is an unsupported
aberration.
