Email messages in project center not showing in Entourage inbox

I am using Entourage 2004 version 11.4.0 on a Macbook with OSX version
10.5.8. I have several projects set up in the Project Center and email
from some contacts are automatically made part of the different
projects. Up until last week, all of my emails were showing up in the
regular Mail Inbox, with the project marked by the colored dot in the
Projects column. Now, however, some emails show up in the Project
Center mail window, but not in the regular Inbox view. It has caused
me to miss a few emails and is getting frustrating. Has anyone else
experienced this? Or does anyone know what might be causing this?

Thanks,
Melanie

Hi Melanie,

Project Center is not a proper folder; it only contains links to
messages in other folders. In other words, your messages need to be
somewhere in the Mail component of Entourage. Perhaps you have
inadvertently set up a rule or a mailing list rule that moves the
messages for you (check Tools>Rules and Tool>Mailing List Manager). Or
perhaps you have instructed Entourage to display only some types of
messages (Unread, or Flagged); check the View menu for that.

Lastly, when setting up the Project, did you create any rules in there?
Check the Properties of the Project to verify this.
