Email redirection ‘move to folder’ (folder name duplication)

I have a problem where 2 user’s are receiving mail (from an exchange server
with outlook 2003 client), opening it and then trying to redirect it to a
created folder (within the inbox) via ‘move to folder’ icon, emails are
disappearing when she try’s this (she does have duplicate folder names when
using the ‘move to folder’ function) I have checked rules, views, data files
location, and have tried searching for these emails, I have myself witnessed
these disappearing when using this function. I cannot find any of the lost
mails but when dragging and dropping within outlook the emails reach there
intended destination?

If you could help in any way it would be greatly appreciated.

Does it matter to what folder they are being moved? Also; pst or Exchange
mailbox?

What do you mean by duplicate folder names? Do you see your inbox twice in
the Folder List? If so your mail profile is corrupted ad has to be
recreated;

thanks for your reply roady to answer your questions

1. the user is receiving mails and moving them to 'self made' alocated
folders for organisastion reasons (it does matter what folder they go into)

2. exchange mailbox

3. ok, although she has only created 1 folder name called 'Press Realeses' 2
'Press Realeses' appear in the 'move to folder' function (when viewing a
mail and pressing this function) i do not see my inbox twice just the 1
folder name showing twice (this may be coincidental?) as she is saying she is
losing mail whilst moving to all folders via the 'move to folder' function.

4. i will look at recreating the mailbox. however i have looked on the
exchange server and can only see options for move or delete the specific
mailbox i was hoping for a repair as i cant affiord to lose all of her emails.

thanks roady
