emailing photos

I have a sony dsc-h5 camera with the cybershot software. I have office 2000
and using outlook for my email. I'm trying to email the pics using the sony
software. When i highlight the pic and click on email it should attach the
pic but the email opens and does not attch the pic. I tried everything on a
friends computer with all the same software and everything works fine. In the
sony notes it has a phrase MAPI must be enabled in a phrase below ( ). I'm
not sure if mine is or isn't and could not find anything in help. Perhaps it
may be something totally different. Does anyone have any help?
Thank you very much in advance.
Phil

What mode is Outlook installed in? Internet Mail Only (IMO) or Corporate
Workgroup (CW)
Look in Help } About ....
If you are in IMO mode you might need the full MAPI provided by CW mode. I
wouldn't change the mode. Instead start a new outlook email and insert the
photos into the body of a html email or attach them.

it is in imo. I just noticed comparing 1 computer to another that inj
options>security>security content the computer that works has below the zone
settings a tab for attachment security. The computer that does not work does
not have that tab. Is their something that is not installed?

IMO mode only uses simple MAPI. I suspect the application you are using
wants full MAPI.
Attachment security is unrelated.
