embed avi?

Hi, how to embed avi video files into the ppt file? "Insert movies/clips"
only embeds the links to the avi, and if I delete the avi files, the ppt
doesn't play the video anymore.

All videos are linked, so don't move or delete your video files if they are
linked to presentations and you want the links to continue to work. You
cannot embed videos.
