Embedded excel and OLE object on Outlook template

I created a word file with embedded excel and pased it on an Outlook template
to create a purchase requisition form. Unfortunately, there are multiple
problems:

1. Embedded excel on outlook acts different than it acts on word. The data
entered in excel cannot be seen on outlook message level.

2. When the Outlook message approved by the recepient the embedded excel
dissapears and becomes << OLE Object: Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet >>

3 The company logo also turns into << OLE Object: Picture (Metafile) >>
after approval.

Can somebody help me? It is a very simple word file with an embedded excel
and a company logo giving me such a hard time.
