embedded word document in Powerpoint

I have a user that has multiple PowerPoint presentations with embedded word
documents in the presentations.
When she double clicks the embedded word document it opens Word fully.
All other PC's in the office open the object in a little window within
PowerPoint.
I have tried to find the options setting that controls this but I am unable
to find it.

What needs to be changed so that PowerPoint will edit the inserted word
document from within PowerPoint ?
