Embedding sound files in Slide shows

I am inserting a sound file (mp3) into a slide show. The slide show works
great so long as I am running it on my computer. But if I email the PPT file
to someone else the music doesn't play when they open the slide show. The
sound is still linked to my "C" drive. Is there a way to insert the sound so
I can send it and it will still work in the slide show. Thansk

Only WAV files can be embedded and only if they are smaller than the
setting for "Link sounds with file size greater than" setting (choose
Options from the Tools menu), but there are other alternatives to getting
your sounds to play. Follow the other suggestions here:

Converting to WAV files is only one option.

You will have to use a pack and go to bundle the linked
media files with your presentation
