embedding sound in presentation to send via email

I am having trouble embedding sound in my presentations for emailing. What
am I doing wrong?

I guess we would have to start with what you are doing to have any clue
as to what you are doing wrong. Note that only WAV sounds can be embedded
into PowerPoint and only if they are below the limit (that you can set)
in size.

Hotdog,
Only sound files of the wave type are embedded all others are linked.
Furthermore you should save your presentation and your sound to the same
folder. Then insert the sound from that folder into your presentation. Also
check Tools, Options and set Link Sounds With File Size Greater Than: to
it's maximum 50000kb. This should allow you to embed larger wave files.
