Empty Task List in 1-day Calendar View

I have just started using Outlook 97 again, under XP. I must be
forgetting something because when I enter a task in the 1-day
calendar's task list (you know the one under the navigator) for some
reason it does not show. When I switch to the Task List View it is
there, but in Calendar View it does not show up. If I enter the task
from the Task List View it still will not appear in Calendar View. I
checked for filters and there appear to be none in effect. Please
help.

Never mind -- it turns out a filter was in effect after all. Once I
removed that the tasks appeared.
