enable macros in powerpoint 97

Is there a way to do this? In newer versions of powerpoint, you do it by
going to security and setting to medium. Powerpoint 97 doesn't have a
security tab. Any solutions?

I can't remember which TAB it is under (General, Edit, or Save) , but it is
a checkbox saying something like "Enable/Disable macro virus
protection".under "Tools", "Options".

Its is tools > options > general
untick the box for " macro virus protection"
