Encountered error and shuts down continuously.

While working on a document, I get a message that says Publisher has
encountered an error and needs to shut down. I am unable to work on the
document any longer.

What version?
It could be your printer driver, before you open Publisher, select another printer as
the default. If you can work without the error message, then it is the printer driver
you need to update. If the error persists, upgrade the video adapter.
