End Show

Does anyone know how to make it so the user goes directly to their desk top
when they click a button designated to end the show?
Thank you.

If you link below macro to an object, it completely quits PowerPoint in 1
click:

------------
Sub Endshow()

Application.Quit

End Sub

Try saving the presentation as a PowerPoint Show (*.pps) file. It will be
the same file as before, but when it starts, it goes directly to the Slide
Show View, and when it ends, it quits PowerPoint altogether. You can always
edit it later by opening PowerPoint first and choosing Open from the File
menu.

If you use the "powerpoint viewer" to show your slideshow with a shortcut

something along the lines of this ShortCut

c:\program files\powerpoint viewer\viewer32.exe c:\myshow\pres1.ppt

then it will quit to the desktop when you have finished viewing your
slideshow.
