Endnote and Office 2004

Hi!
When using Endnote X or X1 for inserting citations in word documents (Office 2004), my mac overheats - the fan starts blowing full speed almost constantly the document managing gets EXTREMELY slow... Has anyone tried something similar and can something be done... Please.. I´m close to being desperate!

There is a focus bug for the Macros running in VBA (such as the EndNote
add-on).
A simple solution is to select the window and drag it around. It forces
Word to re-prioritize this window and the formatting proceeds.

Alternatively, you can save your document in RTF and format from within
EndNote itself. Really realy fast. Almost instantaneous on my Mac.
