Lets say I have 200 records with column A as 'First Name' and column B as 'Last name' and I want to make column C should equal A&B together (first and last name) is there any other way to do it then to go in to each field and typing in the fuction (in this case 200!)?

Two ways

1) in C2 enter the formula and copy this down till C200

2) Select C2:C200 and enter you formula and instead of Enter use Ctrl-Enter

Arigol, try one of these methods:

1-Enter the formula in the first cell (be sure to press Enter)
2-Right-click it and select Copy
3-Select the other 199 cells
4-Right-click any of the selected cells and select Paste.

OR

1-Enter the formula in the first cell (be sure to press Enter)
2-Click the first cell
3-place your mouse cursor on the box in the lower right corner of the cell
(the "fill handle")
4-Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the formula down the next
199 rows.

OR

1-Select the 200 cells that will hold the formula
2-Type the formula for the first cell
3-Press Ctrl-Enter

OR

1-Enter the formula in the first cell (be sure to press Enter)
2-Select that cell and the 199 below it
3-Press Ctrl-D
