Entourage 2004 Exchange Client & non-Microsoft LDAP

Has anyone been able to get Entourage 2004 Exchange Client to talk to a
non-Microsoft LDAP server? We haven't, although we can get it to look up
names in a Microsoft LDAP server AND if we switch the client type to IMAP, it
works with the non-Microsoft LDAP server.

you know if there's a support number for Entourage questions?

We're using Entourage 2004 and Exchange 2003. Does this Entourage Exchange
client update apply to Entourage X? IF so, it sure sounds interesting, but
we can't find a download linked from it.

Ahh, you had mentioned 3rd party products, so that's
what I was thinking

That feature should be built into Office 2004, but
you may want to look at the white paper link here

as well as posting in the Exchange Clients newsgroup
(link below) if you're not getting an answer in
the Entourage group.

The Exchange Client update was rolled up into another update
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;826737,
no longer a separate download.

That Entourage X mixed with Entourage 2004 can have its
own issues and the 'workarounds' are sometimes a bit humorous
