Entourage 2008 - Editing a received message's Subject?

In 2004, there was no problem editing a received message's title, but I
can't seem to do it in 2008. This feature was essential when editing
newsletters or digests, where I removed 80% of the content and kept a tidbit
or tech answer for future reference.
Is there a way to edit the Subject in this version?

You can still do it, though the solution is not as straightforward as the
menu entry in Entourage 2004. Download this script, assign it a keyboard
shortcut, and you'll be set to go:
