Entourage attachments open in TextEditor?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

With my Tiger upgrade, entourage attachments are now opening up in mac's texteditor app rather than the native doc app - such as microsoft word.

I prefer word. Help?

Select a Word document in the Finder, then hit Cmd+i. In the Get Info
window, expand the Open with section and choose Word from the dropdown list,
then click on the Change All button. Restart Entourage and see if your
problem has been solved.

Thank you Michael. This did the trick, also for my PDF files which were opening in text editor.
