entourage frozen

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I sent an email and Entourage froze and will not start. The first page opens but then within a few seconds the rainbow wheel appears and I cannot click on ANYTHING on the page.

Any ideas? I have restarted many times. Doesn't help. I have held down option button as Entourage starts. No go. I have gone onto disk doctor application and clicked on repair permissions. Still not helping. This is a new program and it is annoying that it has already crashed in less than a week. Any help would be appreciated

Hold down the Shift key when launching Entourage. This disables Schedules
from running. Open the Outbox and remove the email.
