Entourage version 13.0.4 - Meeting inviteaccept email stuck in outbox

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I have a user that is having the following problem.

"When I open the meeting invitation in Entourage and select Accept it gets stuck in my Outbox saying the Entourage server is unavailable"

Has anyone seen this before? Any idea how to begin to troubleshoot this one?

For now he is keeping Entourage closed and using his iPhone to accept meeting requests. I accept them all the time in Outlook 2007/2010 as well as Mac Mail without any problems accepting or denying the meeting invite.
