I trying to get started with Microsoft Access 2003, but I'm thwarted at the
very start. I am following the steps on the 'Create an Access database web
page (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HP051874421033.aspx) and I get
the following error message:
"Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product DAO. The Windows
Installer cannot continue."
When I get this error I go into an infinite loop.
I just installed Access on my computer today and it's driving me NUTS! I
just was to create a database that has a street number; street name and
development name and it seems to be impossible just to something so simple!
I've been using databases going back to dBase II under CP/M but this has
just stumped me.
