I have several Word 2007 document shortcuts on my desktop. After
having downloaded/installed the new updates from MS this morning, when
I click on any of the Word shortcuts, I get an error message that
says: "There was a problem sending the command to the program."
Word 2007 will come up and then the message is displayed but the
document will not open as it should. I can click on the document in
the Recent Documents list and it will open there.
I am running Windows 7/Home 64 Bit OS.
Prior to this update, everything was working fine.
