Error message in office pro 2003

Every time I initially access word when it opens I get the followin
error message
run-time error
subscript out of rang
My OS is Windows XP H
I initially had office 2000 pro and no problem but when
installed the 2003 is when I began getting the error message
Once I am in there I can open any document without the erro
message but once I close it and have to access it again.....yep
you guessed it.....error message comes up again.

Would appreciate your help on this.

Thanks so much. All is working fine now. I found that part of the files
were under
All users and some were under my name. I also went in and checked the
normal plug ins and what was listed in the all users were the ones for my
Handheld Palm Tungsten E......I unchecked those and Word opens with
no error message.
