Error Message: Invalid profile name. Enter a valid profile name.

When using Outlook 2000 a recurring pop up error message
appears that says: "Invalid profile name. Enter a valid
profile name." The program continues to run but every
minute or so the error message pops up again. This is an
ongoing behavior.
I have deleted the profile name and reinstalled it on
several occasions but the problem recurs. I have tried
changing the profile name and that has not fixed the
problem. Can someone suggest a fix? Thank you.
