I to am having this problem. I am using Outlook 97 with Windows ME
The error message reads: "Mapisp32 has caused an error <unknown> Mapisp32 will now close.
I ran anti virus, check for ad ware, defraged, and rean scandisk.
I suspect I was upgrading Norton virus definitions at the time of the first incident. I have since upgraded my Norton to their newest product. I have considered copying the file (Mapisp32.exe) from my orginal program disk but am unsure as the one on my hard drive is dated May 2002 and original is 7/97. Any ideas???

I have corrected the problem. I ran Ad-ware and it found 2 "Possible BrowserHijack Attempts" in the registry, adware removed them and I am no long get getting the error message. Outlook is again fully functioning.
